BEARCollage

This great guy is Bear -- he's a 6 year old black tri Aussie that needs a new home. He and the other dog in the home don't get along and unfortunately, Bear is the instigator.

So at least for the short term, it's best that Bear be an only dog. Bear LOVES his humans. He is super cuddly and affectionate. Bear is a great size -- he is 46 pounds and keeps that perfect Aussie weight by running and playing fetch. He's a bit of a show off when he catches balls and toys in the air -- he's an Aussie clown!

Bear is also your typical Aussie smarty pants -- he knows his commands -- sit, lay down, stay, come. He is leashed trained but walks better in a harness.

Bear can be reactive towards other dogs while out and about -- so his next owner will have to be committed to working with him and a trainer.

While he hasn't been around cats, he's fine with his family's other small animals. He is neutered and up to date on all his vaccinations.

Bear is on referral and lives in Maryland. The best home for Bear would be an active dedicated home that will give this diamond in the "ruff" the training and attention he needs. If you think you have a home for him, please contact
